Taylorsville Woman Arrested On Felony Drug Charges

On Monday, September 15, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Brandy Diane Benge, age 33 of Taylorsville, with one felony count of possession of methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver controlled substance, felony maintain vehicle or dwelling to sell controlled substance, possession of firearm by a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Benge is being held under a $50,000 dollar secured bond in the Alexander County Detention Center with a first court appearance in District Court on September 22nd.
