Taylorsville Police Nab Two Suspects After Brief Vehicle Pursuit

Two men were arrested On Monday by Taylorsville Police Officers following a brief vehicle pursuit.

40-year old Matthew Titus Torrence of Taylorsville was charged with driving with license revoked, failure to stop for blue light and or siren, flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, assault and communicating threats and resisting arrest. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000.

42-year old Benjamin Ray Torrence was also charged with resisting arrest. He’s been released with a bond set at $1,000.
