Taylorsville Police have arrested a man from Hickory on felony drug charges. On October 2nd, officers charged 36 year old Derek Alan Joines with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Joines was placed in the Alexander County Detention center under a secured bond of $10,000. He was scheduled to appear in court Monday, October 8th.
