Taylorsville Police Charge Man Sunday Morning

Early Sunday morning, September 14th, Taylorsville Police Officers attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Edgar Tovar- Pantiga after it passed officers at a high rate of speed on Highway 64. When officers attempted a traffic stop, Pantiga accelerated and fled. He was later arrested leading to the following charges:

• Flee/Elude Arrest
• Reckless Driving to Endanger
• Speeding
• Driving While License Revoked
• Failure to Maintain Lane Control

The suspect is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond set at $23,500. A Monday court appearance is scheduled
