Taylorsville Police Charge Local Resident

Taylorsville Police Officers arrested 26-year old Christopher Cole Jarvis on Friday, August 18th. He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Arrest warrants were also served from Iredell County for probation violation. As of earlier today, Jarvis remained in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $15,000.

In addition, Jarvis has pending charges in Iredell County that include felony intentional child abuse causing serious bodily injury, felony hit and run causing bodily injury, felony possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of schedule III and schedule VI controlled substances, assault on a female, injury to personal property and driving while impaired.

Jarvis was scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday.
