Taylorsville Police Charge Catawba County Man

Larry Edward McCurdy, age 59 of Catawba, was arrested on Tuesday, August 1st by the Taylorsville Police Department.

As the result of a traffic stop, McCurdy was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest. McCurdy was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $40,000. A Monday, August 7th court date is scheduled.
