Taylorsville Police Arrest Suspected Drug Dealer Thursday Morning

As the result of an early morning traffic stop by Taylorsville Police, a man is facing felony drug trafficking charges.

Taylorsville Police Chief Michael Millsaps says that T.P.D. Officers stopped a vehicle around 2:15 am on West Main Avenue. 50-year old Chad Vance Hill of Taylorsville was taken into custody and charged with felony possession with intent to traffic methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chief Millsaps says “The traffic stop took around 4.2 oz of meth off the streets.”

Hill is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $250,000. He’s scheduled for a first court appearance on Monday, October 9th.
