Taylorsville Police Arrest Frequent Offender

Taylorsville Police arrested 44-year old Charles Lee Williams of Stony Point early Friday morning and charged him with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams has been released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court today in Taylorsville.

Williams has a variety of previous charges pending in both Alexander and Iredell Counties. The charges include multiple felony drug charges in addition to charges for felony larceny, possession of a firearm by a felon and felony probation violation.

Among his convictions, felony indecent liberties with a child in 2002. He served two-years in prison for that conviction.
