Taylorsville Police Officers arrested a local man on Tuesday. Samuel Ray Lear, age 45 of Hiddenite, is charged with felony probation violation and a sex-offender violation for failure to notify law enforcement of address change. As of earlier today, Lear remains in the County Detention Center under a secured bond of $15,000. March 17th is listed as a court date.
