Taylorsville Man Transferred From One Jail To Another

38 Jeffery Allen Bortz of Taylorsville was placed in custody in Alexander County on Wednesday. Bortz was transferred from custody in the Catawba County Jail to face a charge by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office for felony larceny and misdemeanor receiving stolen goods. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center and is set to appear in court on Monday, April 17th.
