Taylorsville Man Serving Suspended Sentence Now Facing New Drug Charges

Lynn Eugene Warren, age 65 of Millersville Road in Taylorsville, was arrested by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office on March 14th. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Warren is also charged with felony probation violation. As of earlier today, Warren remains inthe Iredell County Jail with bond set at $25,000. His next court date in Statesville is April 7th.

Previous charges are also pending in Alexander County that includes felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. He’s scheduled for court in Taylorsville on April 1st.

Warren was convicted in Alexander County in October, 2024 on a series of drug charges that included felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a suspended sentence of 18 months.
