A Taylorsville man was taken into custody on Thursday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office as the result of a series of missed court dates. 22-year old Shaikem Dedrick Daye is facing 8 failure to appear counts. Among the initial charges are driving with license revoked and providing false information to an officer. Daye was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $1,000.
