Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies and Taylorsville Police responded to a location on Shannon Park Circle Sunday evening following a complaint about a male subject exposing himself. Garrett Covey, age 32 of Taylorsville, was taken into custody. He was initially charged with indecent exposure then charged with assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Covey was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center and later released under a secured bond of $20,000.
