Trenton Derice Bennett, age 33 of Taylorsville, was found guilty of possession of a firearm by a felon in Alexander Superior Court on Monday. He was ordered to serve a sentence of 90 days in the Alexander County Detention Center. Bennett was found not guilty of a 2017 charge of intimidating a witness.
