Taylorsville Man Finds Himself In Jail Again

A Taylorsville man who has been arrested countless times has again been arrested.

33-year-old James Edward Cook was taken into custody on Saturday in Alexander County. He’s charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and vandalism with damage to personal property. Cook remains in custody without bond and is scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday in District Court in Taylorsville.

A long list of previous charges are also pending against Cook in Alexander County. The charges awaiting trial include felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a series of motor vehicle-related offenses.
