Willie Dean Bentley
On August 11th, 2024, the Alexander County Deputies arrested 35-year old Willie Dean Bentley with felony solicitation of a child by electronic device. The charge followed a complaint by a parent.
On Thursday, Investigators charged Bentley with 10 counts of felony second-degree exploitation of a minor. The new charges were filed after a large number of explicit child-porn related images were found on his cellphone.
Bentley has remained in custody since his arrest last year with bond set at $50,000. With the new charges his bond is now set at $125,000. Bentley is scheduled to make an appearance on the most recent charges on Monday in Alexander County District Court.
