Alexander County Deputies arrested 25-year-old Preston Joel Pennell of Taylorsville on Wednesday, September 10th and charged him with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and assault on a female. As of earlier today, Pennell remains in custody with bond listed at $7,000. A Monday court date is scheduled.
