Taylorsville Man Facing Charges In Two Counties

Dalton Michael Dancy, age 22 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Wednesday, January 1st by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with felony fraud and obtaining property by false pretense. Dancy is being held without bond in the Alexander County Jail with an initial court appearance scheduled for Monday, January 6th.

Dancy has previous charges awaiting trial in Wilkes County for felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, misdemeanor child abuse and probation violation. January 22nd is listed as a court date on those charges.
