Leslie Allen James, age 40 of Taylorsville, was placed in Alexander County custody on Tuesday. He was served warrants for felony possession of stolen goods, larceny, second-degree trespass and probation violation. The charges date back to 2023. James is already serving an 18-month suspended sentence from earlier in the year in Alexander County for larceny. A September 16th court date is listed.
