Justin Lee Pope, age 22 of Taylorsville, was taken into custody in Alexander County on Friday, December 20th. He was served warrants after failing to appear on charges that include felony second-degree burglary, felony larceny after breaking and entering and two counts of injury to real property. The original charges date to May 17 when he was charged by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Pope is being held under a $75,000 secured bond in the County Detention Center. A new court date is scheduled for January 27, 2025.
