Taylorsville Man Charged With Kidnapping

Taylorsville Police Officers arrested 25-year old Zion Morris Boston of Taylorsville on Sunday. He’s charged with felony second-degree kidnapping, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, impeding traffic and resisting arrest. Boston remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond set at $100,000. He was scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday.

Boston has a number of previous charges pending in Davidson County dating to 2020. He’s charged there with felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle and two counts of assault on a government official. Boston is scheduled in Davidson County Superior Court on July 14th.
