33-year-old Branden Kyle Packer of Old Landfill Road, Taylorsville was detained in Alexander County on Tuesday after being served warrants from the Fayetteville, NC Police Department. He is charged there with felony obtaining property by false pretense. Packer is being held in the Alexander County Jail awaiting transfer to Cumberland County.
