Another night, another five-inning rout for the Cougars as they humble Hickory on Tuesday.

Jude Carter picked up the mound win for ACHS going four innings while allowing two hits and striking-out six.

Carter sparkled at the plate going 3-3 including a homer and 4 runs batted in. Ty Matheson and Madddix Reese both had a pair of hits.

The Cougars are 15-2 and headed to the Tournament Final on Wednesday. They will face Newton-Conover who defeated St Stephens 7-6. The championship game is scheduled for 7pm at the Hickory American Legion Fairgrounds.
