Taylorsville Man Charged After Incident At Elementary School

The Alexander County Sherifff’s Office arrested a man early Monday morning and charged him with an incident at Taylorsville Elementary School.

25-year-old Dakota Lee Deal, Crowson RD, Taylorsville, was served a warrant related to a reported break-in on March 31st at the school. Deal is charged with felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor larceny. Deal is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center pending an initial court appearance.

Previous charges against Deal are pending from 2025 that include larceny and obtaining property by false pretense.
