Taylorsville Man Charged After Child Porn Investigation Makes Court Appearance Today

A Taylorsville man arrested last week on charges related to the downloading of child pornography is scheduled to make a court appearance today in Alexander County District Court.

Following an investigation that began in March, 41-year old Taylor Ashton Hall was taken into custody by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators were able to track the IP address to a location in Alexander County and to an individual living at the physical location.

Hall is charged with 50 counts of felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $1 million.
