Taylorsville Man Busted For Possession Of Fentanyl

Taylorsville Police Officers arrested 44-year old Joseph Carroll Matthews of Taylorsville on Tuesday and charged him with felony possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond set at $10,000.

Matthews has a number of other pending charges awaiting trial in both Alexander and Caldwell Counties.
