Taylorsville Man Awaiting Trial For Involvement In Murder Arrested Again On Thursday

A Taylorsville man awaiting trial on charges related to murder is back in jail.

Brandon Allan Blevins, age 36, was taken into custody on Thursday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served warrants for driving with license revoked in both Alexander and Iredell Counties. Blevins being held in custody as of earlier today.

In March, Blevins was charged with felony obstruction of justice. The charge stems from the murder of Pang Vueyee, age 33 of Newton. He was shot to death at a residence on Old Mountain Village Drive in Hiddenite. Blevins is said to have transported 18-year old Karla Breanna Freeland of Statesville back to a location in Iredell County. Freeland is charged with the murder.

The owner of the residence where the shooting took place, 46-year old Jason Henry Fidler was also charged with murder. Both Fidler and Freeland remain in custody. Freeland’s bond is listed at $1 million and Fidler is being held without bond.
