On Friday September 10th, at 2am, Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Samuel Ray Lear, age 46, of Taylorsville. He was served with failure to appear warrants on charges of felony probation violation and driving with license revoked. Lear is serving a 24 month suspended sentence for possession of schedule II controlled substance. As of this report, Lear remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond set at $10,000.
