Taylorsville Man Arrested Twice

Raekwon Malik Craig, age 19 of Taylorsville, was arrested Sunday morning by Hickory Police and charged with simple assault. He was placed in the Catawba County Jail with a bond set at $3.000. As of earlier today, Craig is longer listed as an inmate. Craig is scheduled for a Newton court appearance today.

Craig was also arrested on Thursday by Taylorsville Police and charged with resisting arrest after he was cited for speeding. He was released on bond from the Alexander County Detention Center.
