Taylorsville Man Arrested On Warrants From 2017, 2021 and 2023

Trenton Derice Bennett, age 33 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Friday and charged with assault on a female.

He was also served multiple warrants dating back to 2017 for felony probation violation and intimidating a witness. Two felony probation violation violations from 2021 were served for felony probation violation out of county. From 2023, Bennett was served warrants for possession of a firearm by a felony, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule II controlled substance. Superior Court dates on the previous charges are scheduled for September 16th.

Bennett remains in the Alexander County Detention Center.
