51 year old Ronnie Lynn Benfield of Taylorsville was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday, October 6th. Benfield was charged with felony possession with intent to sell and or deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle and or dwelling for the sell of controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and or deliver schedule II controlled substance, and possession of schedule II controlled substance. Benfield was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $38,000. He has numerous court appearances scheduled.
