Taylorsville Man Arrested On Drug Charge

On Tuesday, April 7, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeffrey Ray Minton, age 55 of Taylorsville. He was charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Minton is currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to make his first appearance in Alexander County District Court on April 13.
