On December 3rd, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Team conducted a traffic stop on a Volkswagen Passat near the intersection of Rickert Street and East Garner Bagnal Boulevard in Statesville. According to DMV records, the registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license, and the driver matched the description of the owner.
45-year-old Tyrone Lamott Dye of Polk Street. Taylorsville was charged with felony possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia and driving while license revoked. He was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $3,500 secured bond. He is no longer listed in custody.
