Hiddenite Man Jailed Again. Is He Trying To Set The Record ?

There are few people, if any, that have been arrested as often as James Edward Cook, age 34, of Hiddenite. The latest charges were filed on Friday when Taylorsville Police noticed he was driving without a license plate. Cook was also found to be in possession of meth and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, driving with license revoked and failure to register a motor vehicle according to a press release. The suspect is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center and will make a court appearance on Monday.

Cook has a total of 30 charges awaiting trial along with a long history of arrests, convictions and prison time.
