Taylorsville Man Arrested In Caldwell County

42-year-old Daniel Richard Workman of Taylorsville was arrested Friday, October 6th by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies. He was charged with misdemeanor counts of failure to appear and resisting a public officer. Workman was also charged with two felony counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a weapon of mass destruction. He was placed in the Caldwell County Jail without bond.

A Superior Court date was scheduled for Monday and a District Court appearance was scheduled for October 23.

Workman was scheduled to appear Monday in Alexander County Superior Court on a long list of charges. The felony counts include breaking and entering, larceny, larceny of a firearm, obtaining property by false pretense, possession of methamphetamine and probation violation.
