Taylorsville Man Arrested After Scuffle With Deputies

Alexander County Deputies made an arrest Tuesday morning in Bethlehem and a man was taken into custody. The suspect did not cooperate…at all !

Officers located 67-year-old Tony Ray Bolick of Taylorsville, with intention of serving a series of arrest warrants issued after he skipped Superior Court Dates. Bolick refused to comply with demands and engaged Deputies. He was subdued and charged with resisting arrest.

Among the previous pending charges for which the warrants were issued:

Felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises
Possession of marijuana
Assault
Assault on a government official
Resisting a public officer

Bolick is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center.
