On Tuesday morning, Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies and Probation and Parole Officers went to a residence in Alexander County and arrested a man and a woman.
35-year old Darvis James Stacy of Taylorsville was served Catawba County warrants for felony probation violation and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000.Darvis has an extensive list of criminal convictions in Alexander, Catawba and Caldwell Counties. He was released from prison in January after serving a three month sentence for assault-inflicting serious bodily injury.
Erin Marie Mecimore, age 30 of Taylorsville was charged with harboring a fugitive. Mecimore was released under a bond of $5,000.Photos: Alexander County Sheriff’s Office
