The Statesville Police Department named a suspect linked to a robbery last week.
Investigators received a tip concerning the identity of a person involved with a robbery at the Royal Express gas station along Interstate 77 on Jan. 16.
Authorities identified the suspect as 30-year-old Gary Shenard Green. A press release says he is known to drive a late 2000s white Ford SUV that is registered in South Carolina.
Warrants have been issued for Green’s arrest. Green has active warrants in Charlotte on charges for breaking and entering and safe cracking.
Police say that Green’s current location is unknown and he has ties to South Carolina, Texas, Ohio and New York.

Callers to Crime Stoppers do not have to reveal their identity or testify in court and rewards of up to $1,000 are possible.
