Suspect From Florida Arrested After Alexander County Vehicle-Stop

Steeve Emmanuel Jean-Charles, age 23, of N. Miami, Florida was arrested on Monday following a vehicle-stop by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $1 million secured bond.

Jean-Charles is on probation in the state of Florida for firing a Missile into Dwelling, Vehicle, Building, or Aircraft. His criminal history also include charges of attempted murder. The suspect according to court documentation, poses a danger to the public and is a flight risk if released on bond.
