Troutman- On Monday, December 30, at approximately 5:10 p.m., the NC State Highway Patrol responded to reports of careless and reckless driving in Iredell County near the 400 block of Barfield Road. When troopers arrived, they found Barfield Road completely blocked due to an illegal street takeover.
As a result of the investigation, six trucks were seized and turned over to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Department. Five adults were charged with careless and reckless driving, street takeover, and injury to real property: Eli Chance Pharr, 18, of Stony Point; Gage Myquea Angel Jr., 20, of Cleveland; Isaiah Antonio Villegas, 27, of Statesville; Nicholas James Lufkin, 20, of Mooresville; Nathaniel Madison Harris, 27, of Statesville. One juvenile was also charged.
