Stony Point Woman Jailed In Connection To Meth Trafficking Charges

A Stony Point woman is in custody after being served warrants for failing to appear in court.

31-year old Tabitha Dawn Morrison was arrested on Wednesday in connection with 2023 charges. On February 8, 2023 the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, Taylorsville Police Department, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, Office of Probation and Parole along with the State Bureau of Investigation conducted a drug operation named County Wide. This round-up was a joint effort across the entire county dealing mainly with methamphetamine. Morrison was on of 20 arrested. She was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and 2 counts of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance.

She remains in the Alexander County Detention Center as of earlier today with bond listed at $120,000. Her next scheduled court appearance is Monday, August 12th in Taylorsville.
