Stony Point Woman Detained

35-year old Kadi Woodman Laws of Stony Point was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday and charged with possession of schedule VI controlled substance. She is being held without bond in the County Detention Center. The court date is February 3rd in Taylorsville.

Laws has a previous charge pending in Alexander County for violating her probation.

In iredell County she has pending charges for felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He Statesville date in court is scheduled for January 13th.
