Charles Lee Williams, age 45 of Stony Point, was ordered to serve 8-19 months in prison for violating his probation on Wednesday. Williams served a prison sentence of 44 months following a 2013 conviction in Alexander County for failing to notify law enforcement of an address change while on the state sex-offender registry. He was convicted in 2002 for two counts of indecent liberties with a child. He served 26 months in prison for those convictions.
