Stony Point Man Placed In Custody

A Stony Point man was arrested on Friday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. 63-year-old Jeffery Lynn Chapman was served a warrant for failure to appear on charges of violating his probation. As of earlier today, Chapman remains in custody with bond listed at $14,000.

Chapman was convicted in 2023 for DWI and driving with license revoked. He was given a 24 month suspended sentence.
