Stony Point Man Nabbed Again

A Stony Point man out of prison for less than a year has been arrested.

On Thursday, Alexander County Deputies arrested 46-year-old Charles Lee Williams, York Rd., Stony Point was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Williams was released from prison in October, 2025 after serving 8 months for probation revocation and felony possession of schedule II controlled substance.

In addition, a number of previous charges have yet to be judicated in court. Williams has a 2025 charge pending from Alexander County for possession of schedule III controlled substance. 2024 charges are pending from Iredell County include felony possession with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and felony possession of schedule IV controlled substance.

Williams remains in the Alexander County Jail pending an initial court appearance at which time a judge will set possible bond.
