Stony Point Man Jailed Without Bond

43-year old Stewart Brandon Mullins was arrested Saturday by Deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Mullins has a number of outstanding warrants dating to 2020 and 2021. Information indicated that Mullins was living at a residence in Stony Point. It was at that location where he was taken into custody.

He is charged with felony probation violation, assault by strangulation, violation of a domestic violence protection order, domestic criminal trespass, breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. Mullins was placed in the Alexander County Detention center and is being held without bond due to the domestic violence protection order violation. He was scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday, April 11th.
