Stony Point Man Jailed Again

Jeremiah Brantley York, 40 of Stony Point, has been arrested and charged with a domestic violence protection order violation and two-counts of ankle monitor violation. He was arrested on Saturday, August 2nd by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and is being held under a $60,000 secured bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.

York is also awaiting trial on a charge dating to March 14th when Alexander County Deputies detained him for felony possession of schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additional pending charges in Alexander County include larceny and at least three-counts of driving while license revoked.

In Caldwell County charges of hit and run resulting in property damage, reckless driving with wanton disregard and driving with license revoked are also awaiting trial.
