Stony Point Man Arrested On Felony Drug Charge

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Stony Point man Friday and charged him with felony drug possession.

56-year old James Wesley Wilson was cited for felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. Wilson remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $26,000. He is scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday in Taylorsville.

Wilson has a list of pending charges that include felony possession of methamphetamine in both Alexander and Iredell counties.
