Stony Point Man Charged With Trafficking Fentanyl And Methamphetamine

Matthew Scott Johnson, 44, of York Road, Stony Point, was arrested by Statesville Police Officers on April 14th. He is charged with

Felony trafficking methamphetamine (2 counts)
Felony trafficking fentanyl (2 counts)
Felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver fentanyl
Felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance
Possession of drug paraphernalia

Johnson remains in the custody of the Iredell County Detention Center with a secured bond listed at $175,000.

Charges from 2025, remain pending against Johnson in Alexander County for felony obtaining property by false pretense and uttering a forged instrument.
