Stony Point Man Arrested Saturday Morning

41-year old James Anthony Craig of Stony Point was taken into custody Saturday morning. He is charged with probation violation out of county and open container after consumption of alcohol. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond of $4,000.

Craig has pending charges in Catawba County that include felony possession of heroin and felony larceny of a motor vehicle.
